White houses, turquoise water and complete relaxation
Loutro is a small seaside village west of Chora Sfakion, reached mainly by boat or on foot. With no cars, white houses around a sheltered bay and clear water, it offers one of the most peaceful settings in southern Crete.
Swim by the village, enjoy fresh fish at the tavernas and walk toward the nearby beaches of Glyka Nera and Marmara. A day trip is enough for a first visit, but staying overnight reveals the true calm of the place.
